What is a MASTER GUARANTEE AGREEMENT?
A Master Guarantee Agreement (MGA) is a contract between the Export-Import
Bank of the United States and Centre Merchant Finance, Inc. for Centre to function
as an independent financial institution to support U.S. manufactured exports with the
Guarantee of the Import-Export Bank of the United States.
Through this financial vehicle, Centre Merchant Finance has the ability to offer its
services through the Ex-Im Bank Guarantee Program. An MGA is granted to
lending institutions for their high-level performance in financing U.S. exports.
