“I’ve worked in trade finance for over 25 years throughout the United States and
Latin America. Viewing the market, I realized there was a large void in available
financing for importers and exporters, as commercial banks claimed to be experts in
the field, though rarely completed transactions and avoided small operations. In
1992, I decided to specialize in filling this void with the best team and technology
available. We commenced our operations specializing in the finance of foreign
company imports from U.S. exporters. In 2001 Centre Merchant Finance Inc.
started operating with a Master Guarantee Agreement from the Export-Import Bank
of the United States and funding the loans through sources such as the Private Export
Funding Corporation (PEFCO). Since our inception in 1992 our customer base has
remained loyal, continuously seeking our services. We have financed small and large
exporters and importers, helping them grow and become the competitive companies
they are today.”
